Things are busy over here and I love it. Last week I decided it was about time I took pictures of my daughter. Vera is a month shy of 3.5 and growing fast! Last photo session I did with her was in September... Anyway, I told my sister to bring her three kiddos as well and we would get some nice photos of all o them. Photographing familly can be harder than strangers or friends. The kids wander, I expect too much and I am always trying new ideas on them. But this session was a breeze. Everyone cooperated (for the most part) and I captured their cuteness for all to see! So take a peek and see the kiddos that have my heart .....
Here are a few of my daughter Vera
And here are my favorite shots of my sister's brood
And my favorite outtake from the session
Its always fun to take pictures for your friends. Their kids know you and you can feed them candy and threaten them with playdates! But with Veronica's three, none of those treats or threats were needed. They all listened so well. They smiled and never ran off :-) Veronica is one of my dearest friends. She recently moved (literally 3 miles away) but it does seem odd not to see her car in the driveway when I pull into my sisters house, or see Jake driving his car up and down the street on these lighter evenings. Nonetheless, I can manage the new drive to visit her and I can't wait to continue watching the kiddos grow up into amazing little people. Hugs you guys!
It is that time of year to get the family sessions in and done for the holidays! Can you believe it is holiday season? Really, I can't either. Where did the year go??? The Thomas family is who I will be talking about today. This past week we did their annual family session. What else can say about them besides they are awesome, fun, ultra fashionably coordinated and the kids LOVE to have their pictures taken? Well I can say that my daughter loves them as much as I do. Matter of fact, Vera thinks Julie is actually Barbie. No Joke. When we read this Barbie book she has, she refers to Barbie as Ms Julie. So, Barbie, Ken and Kiddos.... Thanks for the friendship and all the good parties over the past years... Enjoy the photos!!
